About

We Let Kids Play

Our Coach for Kids program encourages schools to let kids play to reach the recommended 60 minutes of daily activity. WITS Coaches, trained fitness professionals, work with schools to reinvent recess, train school staff, and provide fitness education to students.

Our daily goal is for students to return to class after lunch and recess ready to focus and learn. Our long-term goal is to teach children healthy habits that will last a lifetime.

We believe that active children have improved focus and concentration. Movement is important in kids’ lives as a space for fun at school and as a foundation for good health long-term. Regular physical activity can help children grow strong and reduce the risk of developing obesity-related diseases, as well as reducing symptoms of anxiety and depression. Additionally, creating a positive environment around fitness at school with outdoor play keeps kids engaged with others and builds friendships, connections that will reduce bullying and improve school performance and overall happiness.
