About

We Let Kids Play

Our Coach for Kids program encourages schools to let kids play to reach the recommended 60 minutes of daily activity. WITS Coaches, trained fitness professionals, work with schools to increase physical activity throughout the day, provide classroom fitness breaks, and train teachers and school aides.

Our daily goal is for students to have ample opportunity to move throughout the day.  Our long-term goal is to teach children healthy habits that will last a lifetime.

We believe that active children have improved focus and concentration. Movement is important in kids’ lives as a space for fun at school and as a foundation for good health long-term. Regular physical activity can help children grow strong and reduce the risk of developing obesity-related diseases, as well as reducing symptoms of anxiety and depression. Additionally, creating a positive environment around fitness at school keeps kids engaged with others and builds friendships, connections that will reduce bullying and improve school performance and overall happiness.
